My Trauma Therapy Work

The Creativity Track Record

My own personal CV highlights and showcases my creativity and how I’ve developed and used it as a valuable skill both at work and in my personal life. It highlights that while AI can now automate many tasks, creativity, curiosity, imagination, innovation, and human-centred problem-solving remain essential uniquely human skills that technology cannot fully replace that will continue to drive innovation and progress. And that’s the reason why creativity will continue to be one of the most valuable skills in the future.

My Trauma Therapy work (25 years)

I have used a range of trauma therapies with creativity, compassion, and curiosity to help hundreds of people overcome the obstacles created from past emotional, psychological and physical trauma. By asking them 3 questions:

Examples:

25 years ago I worked with a new business owner who wanted to go networking to build her business but she was stopped from doing this by her fear of walking into a room full of strangers. This was the obstacle that she wanted to overcome. After working with me and identifying the source of her fear as a traumatic event from her childhood and investigating her options she chose NLP as the right trauma therapy for her to overcome this post-traumatic fear. And immediately after working with me she happily went networking and from that day she’s never experienced this fear since. She’s even walked into a room full of dragons on Dragons Den on BBC TV!

This year I worked with a woman wanted to improve both the quality and the quantity of her sleep but she was stopped from doing this by her recurring nightmares that over time had developed into a sleep anxiety disorder. She found it difficult to get to sleep and to stay asleep. This was the obstacle that she wanted to overcome. After working with me and identifying the source of her recurring nightmares as traumatic events from her childhood and investigating her options she chose Havening® as the right trauma therapy for her to overcome this post-traumatic insomnia. And immediately after working with me she went from being a lifelong insomniac since childhood to being a good sleeper being able to get asleep and stay asleep.

In the last 2.5 years here are some more examples of Trauma that I’ve helped people get relief and recover from:

Traumatic Bereavement:

Traumatic Medical Diagnosis:

Traumatic Rage:

Traumatic Car Accident/Incident:

Traumatic Fear/Anxiety:

In the list above are just some of the wide variety of Traumatic Events resulting in fears/phobias/anxieties that I’ve worked with in the last 25 years. Others include fears/phobias/anxieties relating to:

Flying, heights, wasps, lifts, water, dogs, exams, spelling, numbers, travelling on public transport, public speaking, showering, mirrors, money, the colour red, eating fish, toes, belly buttons, certain vegetables, shadows, the dark.

And the most recent new one that didn’t exist 25 years ago is the fear or anxiety of being without your mobile phone. And yes it has a name - Nomophobia.
