My Senior University Lecturer and Research Fellow Work

The Creativity Track Record

My own personal CV highlights and showcases my creativity and how I’ve developed and used it as a valuable skill both at work and in my personal life. It highlights that while AI can now automate many tasks, creativity, curiosity, imagination, innovation, and human-centred problem-solving remain essential uniquely human skills that technology cannot fully replace that will continue to drive innovation and progress. And that’s the reason why creativity will continue to be one of the most valuable skills in the future.

Highlights of how I developed and used my creativity in…

My Senior University Lecturer/Research Fellow work (9 years)

I used creativity to turn around an underperforming University project and deliver 100% of the project results required within budget and time-scale required working creatively with a wide range of stakeholders. As a reward I was given my own Academy to help people in business, community and social enterprises to overcome the obstacles stopping them from achieving what they wanted.

I used creativity to successfully design, develop, get validated, launch and deliver a new and unique Business & Community Enterprise undergraduate degree programme working collaboratively and creatively with a wide range of stakeholders.

I used creativity to design and develop new and unique options to overcome obstacles that were stopping people from achieving what they wanted after identifying that there were 2 main categories of obstacles – obstacles that were external to the person and obstacles that were internal to the person. And that’s why I got trained in CBT, NLP and ACT in order to help them do this. I have successfully used these therapeutic models ever since in addition to hypnotherapy, Havening® and HeartMath®.

I used creativity to develop The 3M Method™ as part of my research for the Action Enterprise and Masters in Enterprise programmes when creating a new formula to train school, college and University staff and students from apprentice level to masters level in enterprise and entrepreneurship.

I then creatively applied The 3M Method™ to train employees from apprentices to masters level in a wide range of jobs in business, community and social enterprises.

I used creativity to research, design, develop and test a new objectively assessed psychometric job interview based on expert-embedded questions to test and assess a candidate’s subjective mindset and motivation (two of the 3M’s in The 3M Method™). Which meant that we could predict future job performance by assessing candidates against all of the 3M’s in The 3M Method™ that were required to be unconsciously competent in the job for which they were applying.
